The monks are no longer
managing the store at 1500 Chemin d'Oka. The
«Corporation de l'Abbaye d'Oka», buyer of the Abbey, has
taken over the store on May the first, under the name
MAGASIN DE L'ABBAYE D'OKA, with same address and
telephone number at 450-479-6170. The monastic products
usually found at the store will still be offered for
sale by the new management.
As for the monks, they will be preparing to move in a
not too distant future to St-Jean de Matha where their
new monastery is been built along with a new store:
«MAGASIN DE L'ABBAYE INC., that will open sometime in
2009.
In the meantime, monastic products can be ordered from
